Illustrated and hand-sewn booklet exploring home as a transient space. This piece serves as an analogy to an individual’s lifespan, and the many elements one encounters that make up home: found family, memories, and the intangible. It prompts viewers to reflect on what their meaning of home is outside of a tangible place. The process of creating this book involved sewing together a cover thread together with Peruvian textile and found objects at the shore. Included inside are original writing as well as poetry excerpts from Ocean Vuong and Jamil McGinnis. This piece is a part of a larger thesis project that will be released in Spring 2026.
