Orange Bags, Plaster Casts, Canvas, Oil

This work reflects two themes: the concept of home exists in the people we love, and the tearing apart of the home as a result of the current political climate. Collecting and sewing together fruit bags became a method of reassembling a home once lost; an ever-growing epidemic of families being split. Furthermore, it also stands as a homage to the workers' efforts in the service industry who are often not given the credit they deserve.
